Outlive Your Life { Laundry Love }

How to outlive your life is what building a spiritual legacy is all about. Laundry Love was introduced to me at a conference this weekend. It’s practical, easy, and can involve the family. I share it with you as something to consider for making a difference in your community:

Inspiring and challenging, isn’t it?

Outlive Your Life

Father’s House, the Foursquare church I help pastor in Atascadero, California, hosts a cold-weather nighttime shelter for the homeless during the cold winter months.

We’re working on getting a washer, dryer, and possibly a portable shower set up this winter to help our guests with their personal hygiene needs.

What are you doing to make a difference in the lives of others? How are you building a spiritual legacy that will outlive your life? I’m one who is always looking for new ideas, so I’d love to hear your story.

Growing with you, Susan

    Wow, that was very cool. Love in action at a laundry mat!! The central coast is “ripe” for this type of ministry. The Lord will show us what to do if we ask! :0)

      I agree, Nanci. I’m looking forward to seeing more of this type of ministry on the Central Coast.

    this sun while we were visiting out of town i heard during the service that every 2nd Sunday they have a second time giving they pick a family that is really in need try and share the needs so the congregation knows what it will be used for without letting anyone know who it is ,then a offering is taken for that needy family , and the money is used for that special need to be used for that family , funny thing the family didn’t recognize themselves that Sunday and put their money in the basket to help someone in need,god bless them and the family’s the money will go to every second sun . blessings cindy k
