Spiritual warfare

Scripture talks a lot about spiritual warfare, and in this post we'll look at one of the most powerful spiritual warfare strategies to use when frustrating people drain the life out of your day.Spiritual warfare and negative peopleBut before you can use the strategy I'm going to share with you, you have to STOP collaborating with the enemy! In every relationship you will find times when you get really frustrated with the other person. That's just part of being human. When you get frustrated though, you tend to get critical ... at least in your mind if not in your words. It's a form of self-preservation ... a way you protect yourself. But when you become critical, you're collaborating with the enemy.

The Accuser

One of Satan's name's is Accuser ... because that is what he does ... accuse. You don't want to hang out with the Accuser.Becoming critical doesn't build bridges ... it build walls. So get out of the enemy's camp and onto God's territory.

The Law of Kindness

One of the things that mark God's kingdom is kindness. In fact, it's one of the laws of His Kingdom

She opens her mouth with wisdom, and on her tongue is the law of kindness (see Proverbs 31:26).

I don't want to break this law ... and I don't think you want to either. Even when someone is driving you nuts!We want to view kindness as a spiritual weapon ... one the enemy won't see coming!Kindness is the exact opposite of the weapons the enemy uses to stir up trouble in relationships. You know the kind of weapons I'm talking about ...

  • criticalness,
  • accusation,
  • rudeness,
  • anger,
  • retaliation,
  • and bitterness.

If you're frustrated with the co-worker who's rude to you, try going out of your way to show kindness ...

  • Smile
  • Bring her a cup of coffee when you come to work
  • Help her in ways she wouldn't expect

Don't return evil for evil. Return kindness for evil. When she's having a hard day, let her know you're praying for her.Family enjoying a meal together at homeDo the same with family members who frustrate you. You'll find your attitude changing towards them as you use the Law of Kindness again and again in your relationships.Over time, you'll fine that the enemy's plans for evil can't proper in an atmosphere generated by kindness. And please ... don't break the Law of Kindness or you won't be able to use it as a weapon.

This week ...

This week choose one frustrating person in your life to practice the Law of Kindness on.... really.Leave a comment below on how the Law of Kindness has worked for you in dealing with difficult people. If you found this post helpful, please post the video on Facebook or share it with a friend. And don't miss a thing.
