Deep Peace Celtic Benediction

When my soul seems cluttered, I reflect on this ancient Celtic benediction. It appears on a small refrigerator magnet I picked up some years ago on the island of Iona, Scotland. It remains a soul treasure. One to muse on during my morning walk. (Not the magnet. The prayer. But you knew that, right?)Read it slowly. Breath it in. Speak it to your soul. And let your spirit embrace the truth resting in these ancient words.

Celtic Benediction

Deep peace of the Running Wave to you.Deep peace of the Flowing Air to you.Deep peace of the Quiet Earth to you.Deep peace of the Shining Stars to you.Deep peace of the Son of Peace to you.

Sometimes we have to marinate in truth a while in order to recognize the presence of Jesus. He never leaves you. He doesn't forsake you. He is always there.

Celtic Benediction prayer for deep peace

Have a great week. Enjoy Jesus. Enjoy life. And keep eternity in mind. SusanInterested in more like this? OK, maybe not everybody's brother, but you know . . . all of your friends would be nice.
